Women Desk
- The SANMVA NEC resolved to establish sub-committees that will focus on service delivery and specific areas of focus. Among the focus areas to be prioritised were matters of women.
- A desk which was erroneously named ‘Gender Desk’ was created and tasked with the responsibility of institutionalising and mainstreaming gender issues. Critically, the aim was to come up with plans and a structure to empower female Military Veterans.
